Using this website
This website lets customers describe a job so that Environmental Services can introduce the enquiry to a supplier or third-party company that may be able to assist.
Environmental enquiries and introductions
The site carries general service information about environmental consultancy and site work (subjects such as contaminated land, ground investigation, ecology and environmental compliance), along with ways to contact us and enquiry forms.

Whichever supplier is appointed for the work answers for its own method statements, risk assessments, permits, licences, insurance, quotations, advice, staff, vehicles, equipment, site attendance and work quality, and also for waste transfer documentation, consignment documentation and aftercare. You should check the supplier’s credentials and its terms before you instruct it.
Free enquiries and how we earn income
Sending an enquiry through environmentalservices.co.uk, and being introduced to a supplier as a result, comes at no cost to the customer. We may receive commission, referral income, marketing fees or sales income from suppliers or third-party companies. That commercial arrangement does not put any website-use fee on the customer.
Quotations, contracts and changes to the work
Any quotation, estimate, order, booking, call-out, site visit, service contract or supply contract is between you and the supplier unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. You must read and agree the supplier’s own terms before you authorise any work.
The appointed supplier sets and controls permit requirements, disposal routes, waste charges, prices, minimum charges, attendance windows, emergency call-out arrangements, cancellation terms and any additional work. Should the scope change once a supplier has looked at the site, that supplier may revise its quotation or decline the work.
Opening hours and emergency enquiries
Our usual hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm. Outside those hours we may be available for emergency work where a suitable supplier is able to respond. Sending an emergency enquiry does not guarantee that anyone will attend immediately. While you wait for a supplier to come back to you, you should take appropriate safety, environmental and site-control steps.
Giving us accurate job information
Whenever you contact us or a supplier, the information you give must be accurate, complete and current. For an environmental job, this includes:
- any known contamination;
- the site address;
- the drainage layout;
- a description of the waste and the quantities involved;
- photographs;
- limits on access;
- hazards;
- concerns about confined spaces;
- constraints on working at height or lifting;
- any deadline that affects the work.
You must not submit information that is false, misleading, unlawful or abusive, confidential third-party information without authority, or anything you do not have permission to share. You also must not use the website in a way that interferes with how it runs or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to systems, data or supplier information.
Site conditions, access and safety documents
Once a supplier has been introduced, you must give it what it needs to assess job scope, environmental risk, health and safety and access to the site. A supplier may refuse to go ahead where conditions on site differ from what you described, where safety is a concern, where documentation it needs is missing, or where the work falls outside its permissions, insurance or competence.

We may use what you tell us to judge which supplier looks like a good fit for the job. That judgement does not guarantee that the supplier is the cheapest, the only suitable one, or the best one in every circumstance. Whether to instruct a supplier remains your decision.
Limits on our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, our role is limited to running the website and making introductions where appropriate.
